About the Authors:
Kendall Wild is a high school student that has been showing alpacas at the local county fair since she was 8 years old through the 4-H program. She also shows at the state fair and as an open showman at other county fairs close to where she lives. She is involved in research on the uses of alpaca fiber for her FFA Agriscience Fair and other science fair programs. Kendall has been asked to present at conferences and different shows about showing an alpaca with disabilities as well as her research in the alpaca industry. She never lets her disabilities of autism, ADHD, low muscle tone, and multiple corrective eye surgeries hold her back from achieving her dreams. She wants others to know that kids and animals with disabilities can accomplish much when given the opportunity to prove to the world, through hard work, all they are capable of doing!
